Petrol, diesel prices hiked by 1.06 and 2.94 per litre

New Delhi, Apr 30 (IBNS) Amidst the ban on Diesel/Petrol taxis in the national capital from May 1 by the Supreme Court, prices of both the crude oils have been increased, according to official sources.

While the price of Petrol is up by Rs. 1.06 per litre, Diesel price has gone up by Rs. 2.94 as a litre of each will cost Rs. 62.19 and Rs. 50.95 respectively.

A Facebook post on the official page of Indian oil read, "Fuel prices revised with effect from midnight. Petrol price up by Rs. 1.06/litre; diesel up by Rs. 2.94/litre in Delhi with corresponding price revision in other States, reflecting changes in international product prices and rupee-dollar exchange rate."
