PDP MP Tariq Hamid Karra resigns from Parliament and party
Srinagar, Sep 15 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir's People's Democratic Party (PDP) MP, Tariq Hamid Karra, resigned from the Lok Sabha as well as his party on Thursday, according to media reports.
One of the founding members of the PDP, Karra had always opposed an alliance between the PDP and the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP).
A former finance minister in the PDP government led by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Karra boycotted the oath-taking ceremony of chief minister Mehbooba Mufti earlier in 2016, media reported.
