New Delhi, May 5 (IBNS) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yashwant Sinha on Monday launched a direct attack on Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram and said he will have to be born again to match his record in the 'Finance Ministry'.

"Chidambaram has to be born again to match my record in the Finance Ministry," the former Union Finance Minister said in a  press conference.

Sinha made the comment at a time when the country is voting in the nine-phased Lok Sabha elections to form the next government at the Centre.

Sinha had served as the Union Finance Minister of the country in the BJP-led NDA regime
