New Delhi/IBNS: A part of Sena Bhawan, the headquarters of Indian Army, in the national capital was sealed on Friday after a soldier tested positive for Covid-19, said reports.

The area of the defence building which came in contact with the infected soldier was closed as a measure to stop further spread of the infection to its remaining parts.

"One soldier tested positive for Covid-19. The affected area of Sena Bhawan closed for sanitation and disinfection," an official said, according to media reports.

He said actions as per protocol such as quarantine and contact tracing are in progress.
