Parliament: Lok Sabha adjourned amid pandemonium
New Delhi/UNI: Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm on Tuesday amid Opposition uproar over Adani issue and disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the lower house as a member.
As soon as the House assembled for the day, the MPs from Opposition trooped into the well and raised slogans against the ruling dispensation.
The Presiding Officer disapproved of their conduct and said , "This is not appropriate."
He then adjourned the House till 2 pm amid sloganeering by the Opposition members.
Several Opposition parties have been demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the Hindenburg Research report over Adani Group.
The Hindenburg Research report alleged that Adani Group had engaged in stock manipulation and accounting fraud schemes over the course of decades.
