New Delhi, Oct 3 (IBNS) : A high alert has been sounded in several states following intelligence reports about suspicious movement of two Pakistani boats from Karachi to Gujarat and Maharashtra, media reports said.

India’s Multi-Agency Centre (MAC)  has warned  the  border states, including Gujarat, that two suspicious Pakistan boats, which had left Karachi port, are moving towards either Gujarat or Maharashtra.

According to The Times of India, the  intelligence input has given latitude and longitude of the boats.

It says one of the boats has developed technical snag and is holed up in Pakistan waters. The other is holding its position near the other boat.

The reports said  the intelligence input has been shared with the coast guard and the Indian Navy and vigil has been stepped up in high seas along the Gujarat coast.

A  Pakistan boat with nine crew members was seized off Gujarat coast on Sunday. Also, nine sailors were by the authorities. Indian Coast Guard ship 'Samudra Pavak' had apprehended this Pakistani boat off Gujarat coast.
