Pakistan violates cease fire along Poonch sector in J&K, three Indian army jawans injured

Srinagar, Oct 4 (IBNS): The Jammu and Kashmir administration asked all government and private schools in Degwar area of Poonch to remain closed on Wednesday due to Pakistan firing, according to media reports.

Three Army jawans were injured as Pakistani forces again resorted to heavy mortar shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, media reported.

The Indian army retaliated the Pak attack and firing was going on till reports last came in on Wednesday afternoon.

On Monday, three minors were reportedly killed and eight civilians were injured as Pakistani troops resorted to mortar shelling, besides small and automatic weapons fire at various places along the LoC in Poonch district, according to media reports.

On Tuesday, terrorists, reportedly of Jaish-e-Mohammad affiliation, attacked a BSF camp near Srinagar airport where one BSF jawan and three terrorists died.
