Pakistan: Man in Sialkot arrested for shaving wife’s head and torturing her

Islamabad, Apr 14 (IBNS): The Daska Saddar police in Pakistan have arrested a man for allegedly shaving his wife's head and torturing her over a domestic dispute incident, media reports said.

According to the first information report (FIR), Kainat Bibi was married to Ali Raza three years ago. Their relationship got tense after birth of their daughter, Seerat Fatima, two and a half years back and Ali would often beat Kainat, Dawn News reported.

On the report of Kainat, the police have registered a case against the suspect, reported the newspaper.

Sub-Inspector Dilawar Hussain of Saddar police told the Pakistan-based newspaper that the person has been arrested.
