Opposition in UP bringing Mahaparivartan: Akhilesh Yadav

| @indiablooms | May 07, 2019, at 03:48 pm

Sant Kabirnagar, May 7 (UNI) Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav here on Tuesday claimed that people have 'enthusiastically' voted for Mahagathbandan in Uttar Pradesh in first five phases of Lok Sabha polls for 'Maha Parivartan' (huge change) in the nations polity.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party leaders are frustrated with the response from the people in favour of Mahagathbandan. They (BJP) termed the alliance as Mahamilavat (aduterated) but May 23 result will show the real face," the SP president said while addressing an election meeting here.

The SP president said Modi was giving 'lectures' on terrorism, but has not said a 'single' word about unemployment, farmers distress and other issues of the people.

He claimed that voters have decided to vote 'against' the BJP as the saffron party 'failed' to fulfill the poll promises.

"How can BJP sustain on their 'fake' promises made to the people," he questioned.

Attacking UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Yadav said, "when Modi would be 'dethroned' then automatically Yogi have to 'leave' the chief ministership."

He claimed that Yogi government in UP have done 'nothing' in their two year regime and was just 'showcasing' the work done of the SP government.

Yadav was campaigning for Bahujan Samaj Party candidate from Sant Kabir Nagar Lok Sabha seat Bhisham Shanker Tiwari, son of senior politician Harishanker Tiwari.
