New Delhi, Jun 19 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s nominee Om Birla became the new Speaker of Lok Sabha.

Birla succeeded Sumitra Mahajan as the Speaker.

He is an MP from Rajasthan.
