| | Aug 06, 2015, at 05:23 pm
New Delhi, Aug 6 (IBNS) Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday accused the Narendr Modi government of being "arrogant" as it signed a peace accord with h the Nagaland nationalist group - Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) without consulting the Chief Minister of the state.

"How can the government sign an accord with the NSCN without consulting the Nagaland CM? This government is arrogant," she said in the Lok Sabha.

Outside Parliament, members of her party continued their dharna  protesting the suspension of 25 Congress MPs by the Speaker.

Sonia further protested that the government was not taking any action against three of their allegedly tainted leaders - Sushma Swaraj, Vasundhara Raje Scindia and Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

"They are not making their ministers resign who are directly related to Vyapam scam and the Lalit Modi fiasco," she said.
