NSA Ajit Doval reviews security in Mumbai

Mumbai: In the wake of threat messages to Mumbai Police from a Pakistani number threatening a 26/11-like attack in the city and recently, a boat carrying three AK-47 rifles and live cartridges was found in Raigad, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Saturday held a series of meetings here and reportedly discussed the state’s preparedness to face any eventuality.

Doval met Governor BS Koshyari, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Director General of Police Rajnish Seth and reviewed security-related arrangements in Mumbai.

Doval also took darshan of Lord Ganesh at the residence of CM and Dy CM.
