Besides Byaling, several others have also joined Congress.

Sanjoy, on behalf of the party welcomed them to the party.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, “We expect many more joining the Congress party within this week. The battle (for elections) is very near and the result would be beneficial to the Congress party.”

Byaling said: “I went to NPP. I am very happy that I am back in Congress. We have to take the party forward.’’

Arunachal Pradesh will go for simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha polls on April 11. There are 60 Assembly and two parliamentary seats in the state.
