Not in the race for to become PM, clarifies Nitish Kumar

Patna, May 15 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said he was not in the race to become the Prime Minister.

“I am surely not in the race (for the PM)…I’m not such a big a fool (to nurse such ambition),” Kumar told the media on Monday adding his was a very small party.

“This is not an issue of personal aspirations. As such, who has the capability for that will be decided in future,” he added.

Narendra Modi, he added, became the Prime Minister since the people saw capability in him.

The clarifications come amid the ongoing campaign by his party, the JD-U, to project Kumar as the PM candidate for the next 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
