Northern Army commander meets Governor Vohra at Raj Bhavan in Jammu

Jammu, Dec 15 (IBNS) Northern Army commander Lt Gen. Devraj Anbu met Governor N.N. Vohra at Raj Bhavan in Jammu on Thursday.

"Lt. General Anbu briefed the Governor about the obtaining security situation in the State," said a Raj Bhavan spokesman.

He said the Governor and Lt. General Anbu also discussed certain important issues relating to more effective internal security management in the wake of an attack on the Army Camp at Nagrota.

"This was Lt. General Anbu’s first meeting with Governor after taking over the charge as Northern Army Commander. The Governor wished the General a very successful tenure," said the spokesman.
