| @indiablooms | Feb 04, 2023, at 11:39 pm

Jammu: In the wake of sinking of land that developed cracks in residential structures in Thathri belt, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said that there is no Joshimath like situation in Doda district.

"The administration is keeping close eye and no need to panic" Sinha told reporters at the sidelines of an event here at Raj Bhawan.

"There is no Joshimath like situation," said Sinha adding that experts are on job and team is assessing the situation for further necessary action.

Notably, 21 structures including a mosque, madarssa and residential houses developed cracks due to "sinking" of land.

The government is minutely monitoring the situation, said Sinha.
