Nitish Kumar's convoy attacked by villagers, two security men injured
Patna, Jan 12 (IBNS) : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's convoy was attacked on Thursday in Nandar village of Buxar district during his “Vikas Samiksha Yatra," media reports said.
According to reports, the attackers pelted stones on the Chief Minister’s convoy. However, he escaped unhurt.
Nitish Kumar was rescued safely by his security but two security men in his convoy were injured.
When his cavalcade was crossing the Nandar, a Dalit village, locals began pelting stones.
The people reportedly wanted the CM to visit the Dalit basti in the village, but there was disagreement over it.
Nitish Kumar is currently on a statewide tour called “Vikas Samiksha Yatra” from December 12 to take a first-hand account and review the progress made in various districts on development schemes launched by his Government.
