Nine arrested for alleged links to ISIS in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Jan 23 (IBNS): Three days ahead of the Republic Day, nine people have been arrested for alleged terror links to ISIS in Maharashtra, media reports said.

Among nine, one is also a teenager.

The suspects have been arrested by the Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS).

The ATS was investigating the sleeper cells in the state.

The investigators have revealed the age of the suspects and the locations from where they were arrested.

Two men between 20 and 25 were held at Kaisar Colony Aauranagabd.

A 35-year old and a 25-year old have been arrested from Damadi Mahal and Rahat Colony in Aauranagabd respectively.

The fifth person has been arrested from Amrutnagar in Mumra.

Four others, who are in 20s, were also arrested from Mumra.

The teenager was arrested from Thane.
