New Delhi: Minor blast occurs close to Israel Embassy, no injury reported

New Delhi: A minor blast was reported near the Israel Embassy here on Friday evening.

As per reports, the blast occurred at Abdul Kalam Road, which is just about 1.5 km away from Vijay Chawk where the Beating Retreat ceremony was held.

Wind shields of at least three vehicles were broken while no report of any injury or death has been reported.

Delhi Police said a very low intensity improvised device went off at 5.05 pm near 5 APJ Abdul Kalam Road near Jindal house.

No injury to any person is there and nor any damage to property was witnessed except window panes of 3 vehicles parked nearby.

Initial impressions suggest a mischievous attempt to create a sensation.
