New Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to have five deputy Chief Ministers in Cabinet ; swearing-in tomorrow
Vijayawada, Jun 7 (UNI/IBNS) In a major move, Andhra Pradesh's newly elected Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to have five deputy Chief Ministers in his Cabinet.
Jagan has decided to have five Deputy Chief Ministers under him at the meeting of YSR Congress Legislature Party held at his office-cum-residence in Tadepalli near here on Friday.
Addressing the YSRCP legislators, he announced that his Cabinet would have five deputy Chief Ministers, who hails from SC, ST, BC, Kapu and minority communities.
He said that his new Cabinet comprising 25 ministers would take oath at 11:49 am in the premises of Secretariat in Amaravati on Saturday.
He also announced that new faces would be inducted into his Cabinet.
“Reshuffle of his Cabinet will be taken place only after two-and-half years”, he said.
Meanwhile, YSRCP sources said Tammineni Sitaram would be the nominee for the Assembly Speaker post.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister would enter into his chamber in Secretariat at 8:49 am tomorrow.
The Chief Minister’s chamber is being renovated as per the vastu. Adviser to the government, Ajay Kallam inspected the renovation works today.
YSRCP leaders said that the Chief Minister told them that he is giving importance to the legislators belonging to the weaker sections contrary to the speculation that Reddy community legislators would get majority of Cabinet berths.
