Nepal Ambassador thanks India for help after earthquake

New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS) Nepal's ambassador to India Deep Upadhyay has thanked the international community for extending all possible help to the earthquake hit Himalayan country.

"We are getting every kind of support from government of India. Different countries from international community are also coming forward to support", he told mediapersons on Modnay.

Upadhyay said the city areas it is easier to carry on rescue and relief operations in the areas located in Kathmandu valley, but "it is quite difficult to extend support in remote areas."

He said the Nepal government and organizations are trying to collect information from all the areas.

He appealed to the international community to donate the money generously towards relief and rehabilitation.

Commenting on the situation in Nepal he said "weather is fine at day time, but power supply is still troubling."
