NCB seizes 460 gm of Methamphetamine, 2 arrested

Chennai, Mar 9 (UNI) Official of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday seized 460 gms of Methamphetamine at Sevenwells in
the city.

NCB Zonal Director A Bruno in a release here said based on specific  intelligence, the NCB team arrested one Mohammed Farith (30) of

North Chennai and Shivakumar (36) of central Chennai with 460 gm  of Methamphetamine.

The contraband was concealed inside massage items and was found
packed in a Carton.

Methamphetamine was a potent Central Nervous System stimulant and appetite suppressor that was mainly abused as a recreational drug.

On enquiry, the contraband was meant for trafficking through courier to foreign countries, Mr Bruno said.
