Naveen Patnaik congratulates Vijay Rupani as he takes oath as Gujarat CM

Bhubaneswar, Dec 26 (IBNS): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday Vijay Rupani as he took path as the Chief Minister Gujarat.

Patnaik tweeted: "Congratulations to Shri #VijayRupani ji on taking oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat for the second time. My best wishes to him for a successful tenure."

Rupani took oath as the CM on Tuesday.

Vijay Rupani will once again serve as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Nitin Patel will work as the deputy Chief Minister of the state.

In the recently concluded polls, BJP retained power by winning 99 seats, which is howerver 16 less than what it had in the last Assembly, in the 182-member House,  while the Congress claimed 77 to improve their tally.

Six seats went to others, including three Independents.
