Nashik: 4 killed in cylinder blast

Nashik, Feb 20 (UNI/IBNS) Four members of a family were burnt to death in a cylinder gas explosion at Dhaur village in Dindori taluka of the district on Tuesday.

According to police, the family members retired to bed after finishing dinner, but failed to notice the cooking gas cylinder, which was leaking.

The gas spread in the house and caught the oil lamp, which was on and the cylinder was exploded, killing all four members, police said.

The deceased were identified as Murlidhar Hari Choudhary (32), Kavita Murlidhar Choudhary (30), Tushar Murlidhar Choudhary (10) and Nayan Kailas Choudhary (8).

A case was registered and further investigation was on, they added.
