Narendra Modi wishes Ram Nath Kovind as he turns 76

New Delhi: Indian PM Narendra Modi on Friday wished President Ram Nath Kovind on his birthday.

Kovind turned 76.

Wishing him, Modi tweeted: "Birthday greetings to Rashtrapati Ji. Due to his humble personality, he has endeared himself to the entire nation. His focus on empowering the poor and marginalised sections of society is exemplary. May he lead a long and healthy life. @rashtrapatibhvn."

Kovind is the 14th president of the country.
