Narendra Modi wishes former PM Manmohan Singh on his birthday

New York/New Delhi, Sept 26 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished former PM Manmohan Singh on his birthday.

Singh turned 83 on Saturday.

"I wish Dr. Manmohan Singh on his birthday and pray to Almighty that he remains in good health & leads a long life," Modi tweeted.

Singh was born on Sept 26, 1932 at Gah, now in Punjab, Pakistan.

Singh's family migrated to India during its partition in 1947.

He served the nation as the Prime Minister from May 22, 2004 to 26 May 2014.
