Narendra Modi wishes Dalai Lama on birthday

Indian PM Narendra Modi recently wished Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama on his birthday.

Modi also wished him a speedy recovery from his knee surgery.

" Sent my greetings to His Holiness @DalaiLama on the occasion of his 89th birthday. Pray for his quick recovery after knee surgery, good health and long life," Modi posted on X.

Dalai Lama is the highest spiritual leader and head of Tibet.

His birthday was celebrated on July 6.

His birthday was celebrated in India by his followers.
