Narendra Modi participates in RIC Summit, calls it 'excellent'

Buenos Aires, Dec 1 (IBNS): After a gap of 12 years, the 2nd Russia-India-China 'RIC' Trilateral Summit took place on Friday.

Modi called the meeting as 'excellent'.

Modi said the three leaders discussed a wide range of subjects that would further cement the friendship between the three nations.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin attended the meeting.

"Excellent meeting of the RIC (Russia, India, China) Trilateral. President Putin, President Xi Jinping and I discussed a wide range of subjects that would further cement the friendship between our nations and enhance world peace," Modi tweeted.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.
