Narendra Modi condemns suicide attack in Istanbul's Atatürk Airport

New Delhi, June 29 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday condemned the suicide attack in Istanbul's Atatürk Airport on Tuesday which killed 36 people.

Modi called the attack as ' inhuman & horrific'.

Condemning the attack, Modi tweeted, "Attack in Istanbul is inhuman & horrific. I condemn it strongly. My thoughts are with bereaved families. May the injured recover quickly."

At least 36 people were killed in a suicide bomb and gun attack in Istanbul's Atatürk Airport on Tuesday, media reports said.

The incident left several others injured.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has blamed militant group ISIS is suspected to be behind the attack.

The prime minister was quoted as saying by Hürriyet Daily News

three attackers arrived in the airport on a taxi cab and also used guns during the attack.

He said the three men exploded themselves.

Flight movements were disrupted following the attack.
