Kolkata, Apr 12 (IBNS): A division bench of the Calcutta High Court, led by Chief Justice Manjulla Chellur, on Tuesday named 3 members for a committee to collect Narada News's sting operation's raw tape from Delhi.

Earlier on Monday, the High Court set up a three-men committee, comprising of an IG ranked officer of Bengal police, a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) official and a court-appointed officer, to collect unedited footage of Narada News's sting operation from company's CEO Mathew Samuel.

The division bench, however, finalized on Tuesday that Calcutta High Court's registrar Jayanta Kumar Kole, IG of West Bengal Police Recruitment Cell Anil Kumar and CBI Anti Corruption Branch's SP Nagendra Prasad would collect the raw footage.

The court has directed the committee members to collect unedited footage, video-recording gadgets and Mathew Samuel's contact details and to submit those before the court.

However, the entire procedure, relating to collection and submission, will be kept confidential.

Since Mar 14, news Portal- Narada News- released several sting operation footage, where the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders, ministers, MPs and MLAs were exposed while taking bribes.

As many as three Public Interest Litigations (PIL), demanding the CBI and ED joint probe into the matter, were filed before the High Court. The next hearing date in this case has been set on Apr 15.

Meanwhile, denying their involvement in this matter and claiming the videos were doctored, the TMC has already announced to conduct an internal probe into the case.
