Mumbai: One killed as portion of building collapses

Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) A person was killed and two others, including a elderly woman, sustained injuries on Wednesday when the portion of a single-storey building collapsed in Kurla here.

The deceased have been identified as Abdul Rashid Qureshi (48) while the injured persons are 65-year-old woman Rahemadi and another yet-to-be identified victim.

The mishap occurred in the morning at the structure of Pathan Chawl of Qureshi Nagar,said the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Disaster Control Officials.
