Mumbai fire: Residents rescued; fire under control

Mumbai, Aug 22 (IBNS): The residents of the Mumbai high-rise building, where fire broke out on Wednesday morning, have been rescued, media reports said.

The residents were rescued using a crane.

The fire has been brought under control, report said.

Eight fire engines had worked to control the flame in the 12th floor of the building, which is located in central Mumbai.

No casualties have been reported so far.

An official of Fire Brigade control room told NDTV that they got a message about a blaze at 8.32 am.
