Mumbai-based TV actress alleges rape in Rajasthan's Alwar

Alwar, Sept 21 (IBNS): A Mumbai-based television actress has accused a 25-year old man of raping her on the pretext of marriage in Rajasthan's Alwar, media reports said.

The actress had alleged to have been raped by the man in Alwar's Neemrana on Sept 4.

After receiving  First Information Report (FIR) from Oshiwara police station, Mumbai, the Alwar Police has filed a complaint against the accused on various sections.

In her complaint, the actress said she had met the accused while studying in college in Mumbai. Later, the two re-established contact via social media.

The two had decided to go to Rajasthan's Alwar in Sept 4 when the crime took place.

Police told media that they will soon record the woman's statement.
