Mumbai: 2 killed, 3 injured as Audi collides with taxi

Mumbai, June 9 (IBNS): Two people were killed and three were injured on Tuesday as a speeding Audi SUV rammed a taxi.
The accident took place on the Eastern Freeway in Mumbai in the early hours.
 
According to reports, a woman advocate was allegedly at the wheels of the Audi.
 
She was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the freeway.
 
The woman has been detained and have reportedly found to have consumed alcohol.
 
The driver of the taxi was killed in the accident. 
 
His passengers - a couple with their two children, had been returning to Mumbai. 
 
All four are in the hospital. The kids' father, too, died on the spot.
 
A case of rash driving and culpable homicide has been registered.
