Modi wishes people on Earth Day

New Delhi/New York, Apr 22 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday wished the world on the occasion of 'Earth Day'.

Modi tweeted: "On #EarthDay, reverence and gratitude to our planet that has given us everything."

Popular internet search engine Google also decorated its homepage with beautiful doodles to mark the occasion.

Netizens visiting the website can see different images depicting beauties of nature with an animated animal in it.

Earth Day, a day to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth's natural environment, is being observed around the planet on Friday.
