Modi, KP Oli meet in Kathmandu, discus bilateral ties

Kathmandu, Aug 31 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met his Nepali counterpart KP Oli here.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the ongoing BIMSTEC Summit in the Himalayan nation.

Modi and Oli discussed and reviewed all aspects of our bilateral relationship.

This was the third meeting between the two leaders this year.

"Continuing the positive momentum & direction in our relationship! PM @narendramodi had a warm meeting with PM of Nepal K.P Sharma Oli (3rd this year) on the sidelines of #BIMSTECSummit in Kathmandu. Both leaders held a detailed review on all aspects of our bilateral relationship," MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

Modi is attending the Summit in Kathmandu.

He reached the country on Thursday.
