Modi greets people for festivals

New Delhi, Jan 14 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday conveyed heartfelt greetings to the people on occasion of various festivals across the Nation.

"I convey my heartfelt greetings to our fellow countrymen and women on the various festivals across the Nation," he said in a message.

"The festive spirit across India is gladdening. It celebrates the diversity of India that we cherish and are extremely proud of," the PM said.

Modi wished the people and greeted them on the occasion of Uttarayan,the kite flying festival in Gujarat, Pongal and Bhogi, the harvest festivals in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telengana and the Magh Bihu of Assam.
