Modi asks BJP MPs to tell people about Govt's "good work" in one year

New Delhi, May 12 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked his ministers and BJP MPs to go to the people and communicate to them the "good work" done by the government in the last one year.

Addressing the party's  last parliamentary panel meeting before the first anniversary of his government, the PM praised them for the efforts they had put in, saying the  past year has been good, reports said.

Modi also told the MPs that it is very important to improve relations with Pakistan as well as other neighbouring countries.

He said its is only in the BJP regime that  it is possible to improve relations with Pakistan.

Modi  is likely to write an open letter to the nation on the completion of one year in office listing out the achievements of his government.

BJP  President Amit Shah held a meeting late last night with top ministers and party leaders .

A series of meetings are being held to finalise Modi government's programmes to mark one year in power.
