MJ Akbar meets Syrian President Bashar Al Assad

Damascus, Aug 21 (IBNS): Visiting Syria, Indian Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar met country's President Bashar Al Assad.

MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted: "During his official visit to Syria, MoS @mjakbar called on President Bashar Al Assad in Damascus today."

He earlier visited Lebanon.

"And earlier in Lebanon, MoS @mjakbar called on President of Council of Ministers, Tammam Salam, and FM Gebran Bassil," Swarup siad on his visit to Lebanon.
