Mir Junaid calls on J&K Lieutenant Governor, presents memorandum containing suggestions

Srinagar/IBNS: President of Jammu Kashmir Workers Party Mir Junaid Wednesday called upon Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and presented a memorandum that contained suggestions on the management of issues that have come up due to the pandemic.

Mir appreciated the LG for his efforts in handling the pandemic crisis and told him that the people were appreciative of his efforts as well.

Talking about the recent happenings, Mir brought up the issue of the recent series of hailstorms that had damaged the crops of various farmers and fruit growers.

Mir requested the LG to devise a scheme through which the damages can be accounted for and solutions to the problems faced by the farming sector can be found out.

He also requested the LG to find a way through which relief could be extended to the farmers who suffered losses due to the storms.

Mir brought up the issue of fixing the rates for various medical services and equipment in Kashmir valley like the Jammu division so that the exploitation of the patients in the time of crisis is checked.
