Millitant killed, two army jawans injured in Kashmir encounter

Srinagar, Nov 13 (IBNS) One militant was killed on Friday in an encounter between militants and security forces in northern Kashmir’s Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, official said.

According to reports, the Indian army intercepted the movements of some heavily armed militants in the Hajinaka area ensuing fierce gun battle between militants and security forces.

In an ongoing gun battle one unidentified militant has been killed so far, while two army Jawans seriously injured during the gunfight.

“The search operation is going on the area,” the official said.
