Mig-21 of IAF crashes in J & K, pilots escape
Srinagar, Aug 24 (IBNS) A Mig-21 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed in a paddy field on Monday in central kashmir's Budgam district, officials said.
According to reports, the pilot and co-pilot had a miraculous escape.
The fighter jet of 51 Squadron of the Indian Air Force, which crashed around 11 am got severely damaged.
An enquiry has been initiated into the incident to ascertain the cause of the crash, the officials said.
