New Delhi/New York, Nov 10 (IBNS): Anti-Trump protesters across the US have been thronging the streets chanting or showing placards saying 'Not My President', the media reported on Thursday.

Republican party candidate Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States on Tuesday by defeating former Secretary of State and Democratic candidate party Hillary Clinton.

A huge crowd was seen moving  from the sidewalks and into the streets chanting as they marched from Union Square up to Trump Tower in NYC, according to media reports.

Besides New York, people in Los Angeles and Washington also participated in anti-Trump protests, media reported.

According to reports, in some places, protesters bunt Trump's effigy and even clashed with the police.
