Imphal/UNI: Three people, including a man and his son, were killed on Saturday at Ukha Tampak near Kwakta, Bishnupur district.

Police said all three were killed inside their own houses using guns and knives.

All the dead bodies had marks from knives. The villagers said the three people were killed by Kuki miscreants who sneaked into the area.

Meanwhile, as news of the killing spread, people came out to protest the gruesome killings. A curfew was imposed in Imphal West and Imphal East at 10.30 a.m.

The villagers said Kuki miscreants used drones and attacked the people using heavy weapons, mortars, and long range weapons.
