New Delhi, June 28 (IBNS) Nearly three months after National Investigation Agency (NIA) officer Tanzil Ahmad's murder near Delhi, the main accused has been arrested, reports said.
Muneer, a former student of Aligarh Muslim University, was arrested in Uttar Pradesh. The 35-year-old man is said to be the mastermind behind the murder. He is allegedly involved in two other murder cases.

Ahmed, 45, was shot dead by motorcycle-borne assailants when he was driving back to Delhi from a family wedding on April 3. He was shot at 24 times.

Ahmed's wife Farzana Khatoon was also killed in the volley of  fire. Their children, aged 14 and 12, however, escaped as they ducked.
