Mamata Banerjee wishes Nitish Kumar after Bihar Assembly poll victory

Kolkata, Nov 8 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday congratulated Bihar CM Nitish Kumar after the Grand Alliance won the Bihar Assembly polls by beating the BJP-led alliance.

"Congratulations Nitish ji, @laluprasadrjd ji & full team. And all my Bihar brothers & sisters. Victory of tolerance, defeat of intolerance," Banerjee tweeted.

Kumar tweeted back and said: ".@MamataOfficial thank you Mamata Ji."

As per latest trends, the Grand Alliance, comprising of Bihar Chief Minister Nitsh Kumar's JD(U), Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD and Congress, is leading in 177 seats while the BJP-led NDA stood at the second spot with 61 seats. Others managed to retain 5 seats.
