Mamata Banerjee urges people to join the Durga Puja Birsorjon carnival tomorrow

Kolkata, Oct 22 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday urged people to join her to witness the grand carnival event on Tuesday which will mark the immersion of major Durga idols of the city.

The carnival will be held on  Red Road.

"Join me tomorrow at the grand Bishorjon Carnival on Red Road. Enjoy this unique pujo carnival as award-winning Durga Pujas of #Kolkata are taken for immersion. Watch it live on my Facebook Page on Tuesday Oct 23 from 4:15 PM onwards," Banerjee tweeted.

The carnival has become part of the festivity for the past couple of years.

Durga Puja festival came to an end on Friday with the Bijoya Dasami.
