Mamata Banerjee leading in Bhowanipore seat in Kolkata

Kolkata, May 19 (IBNS) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is ahead from Bhowanipore seat in Kolkata over her nearest Left Front-Congress rival Deepa Dasmunshi by over 3000 votes, after three rounds of counting.

The ruling  TMC is ahead in 219 seats in West Bengal as per the  trends while the alliance of Left and Congress is ahead in 67 seats as counting is underway for  294 assembly seats that went to polls. The BJP is leading in 5 seats. Others are ahead in 2.

 
Ponzi scheme scam accused jailed TMC leader Madan Mitra, who was leading earlier, is trailing now from Kamarhati seat.
