Malegaon blasts: Charges dropped against 8 Muslim men

New Delhi, Apr 25 (IBNS): In a crucial order, a Mumbai court on Monday dropped charges against eight Muslim men accused in the 2006 Malegaon blasts.

All of them have spent five years in prison.

Charge has been dropped against them due to lack of evidence, reports said.

The  2006 Malegaon blasts had killed at least 35 people.

The blast had occurred close to the Hamidia Mosque in the Bada Kabristanat around 1.15 pm on Sept 8, 2006 which left more than 100 others injured.
