Maharashtra: Six killed in road accident

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Six people, including four women and a girl hailing from Chatrapati Sambhajinagar district, were killed and seven others were injured in a road accident in Maharashtra's Buldhana district on Sunday, officials said.

Reports reaching here stated that 13 members of Barve and Borude families hailing from Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar who were going to Shegaon in a car met with the accident when the car overturned.

According to reports, the driver lost control and the vehicle collided with the barrier placed on the road and overturned.

Six occupants of the car were killed on the spot and seven others were hospitalised with injuries.

The deceased were identified as Housabai Bharat Barve (60),Shradhya Suresh Barve (28), Bhagyashree Kiran Borude(28),Pramila Rajendra Borude (58), Janvi Suresh Barve (12) and Kiran Rajendra Borude (35).
